Michael Limb is a Senior Vice President at Newport Partners. He is actively involved in the overall strategy and management across Newport’s platform and affiliated companies.
Prior to joining Newport in 2018, Mr. Limb worked in investments at CIM Group (a $30 billion AUM real estate private equity fund manager and developer) in Los Angeles, and began his career in the investments group at The JBG Companies (an $18 billion AUM real estate private equity fund manager and developer) in Washington D.C.
Between his roles at CIM and JBG, Mr. Limb led a variety of multifamily, office, hotel, and retail investments, including the management of new acquisitions as well as development, asset management, and financing activities. Mr. Limb has closed on over $1 billion of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments, and financings.
A native of Southern California, Mr. Limb received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (with honors) from Dartmouth College, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with an emphasis in Finance and Management.
