Monique Hastings is an Executive Vice President and a Co-Founder of Newport Partners, and is responsible for the investment execution process of all real estate related transactions including due diligence, negotiation, and closing of investment transactions.
Prior to forming her own company, she was Director of Property Investment and Asset Management for Edison Capital Housing Investments where she managed the east coast office and presided over $200 million of equity closings and oversaw the asset management of over 16,000 units.
She has also held the position of Property Development Manager responsible for lease negotiation and asset management of retail, commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Ms. Hastings has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton, and is a licensed California, Hawaii, and Minnesota real estate broker.
